Five puzzle games you can beat with one hand

Not every puzzle game respects the fact that you often have exactly one free hand. The best ones keep interactions to simple taps and drags near the bottom of the screen.

Glyph Garden is my current favorite for this. There's no timer, the board is compact, and the rules are teach-as-you-go, so you never feel rushed or lost. It's the kind of game where five minutes turns into twenty.

Look for games with generous hint systems too. A good hint nudges you toward the logic without handing over the answer, which keeps the satisfaction intact.

Avoid anything that demands fast, precise multi-finger gestures if one-handed play is your goal. Those games are great, but not on a crowded train.
