About
PocketVerdict started as a group chat where three friends argued about which mobile games were worth the storage space. At some point we got tired of shouting into a void and turned those arguments into proper write-ups. Everything you read here comes from someone who installed the game, played it on a real phone, and formed an opinion.
We don't chase every launch. We pick titles that feel worth the attention: a clever puzzle mechanic, an RPG with actual roleplaying, a strategy game that respects your brain, or an arcade title that nails the feel of a single tap. If a game is boring, we say so, and we explain why.
Our process is simple. One editor plays for several sessions across a few days, takes notes on controls, pacing and how the game handles longer play. Then a second person spot-checks the claims on their own device. Only after that does a review go live.
We're readers first and writers second. If a comment points out something we missed, we go back and update the piece. The site is meant to feel like advice from a friend who plays too much, not a marketing channel.
