Iron Tide Command

Iron Tide Command asks you to think a few turns ahead. You manage a fleet across a grid of shipping routes, balancing fuel, defense and expansion. It's not a twitchy game; wins come from planning your supply chain and cutting off the AI before it grows too strong.

The interface took me a session to learn, but once it clicked I appreciated how much information sits one tap away. Matches against the AI are tense in the good way, and the campaign difficulty ramps fairly. It won't be for everyone, but strategy fans who miss slower thinking games should give it a look.
